Administration Communication Updates 02/26/2021

Dear Emmanuel Family,

We are extremely excited with the sun and higher temperatures this week. This excitement will carry over into Monday with the ending of our Hybrid model. We are very thankful to our parents, your flexibility and support over the winter, and the changes that were made. We are also blessed to have a great teaching team across all of our grade levels. We have had to adjust and adapt, but we couldn’t have accomplished this without our staff and teachers.

IN-CLASS / REMOTE LEARNING DECLARATION

Although the majority of our students will leave the Hybrid model and return to school on Monday, we are still permitting families to choose remote or in-person learning for the 4th quarter. Please fill out the following survey by Tuesday, March 2nd for your learning choice.

RE-ENROLL FOR 2021/2022 SCHOOL YEAR

We are currently working through plans for the finish of this school year, as well as beginning plan for the next school year. Please remember to re-enroll your student for 2021/22, as the deadline is February 28, 2021. Open enrollment will begin March 1, 2021.

OPEN HOUSE

Our next open house is scheduled for Sunday, March 7th. If you know of any families that might be interested in enrolling at Emmanuel, please contact Lynne Willis in the school office, call 937-390-3777 or send her an email at lwillis@ecaoh.com

TECHNOLOGY NOTES

As you understand, Emmanuel has had quite a few technology enhancements this year. We want to bring to your attention several sites that are popular among our student population for which we have concern. We encourage caution in the use of Omegle and Discord.

Both of these sites are blocked for students by Untangle and Securly, as long as they are using ECA Chromebooks, however, we want you to be aware of these sites for other devices.

Please continue to pray for a smooth and fulfilling finish of the school year on May 14th. Below is a reminder of our building plan moving forward, as well as several upcoming important dates.

Blessings,

Dan Moore, Building Principal
John Essig, Superintendent
