Self-Reflection:
“You will never be done with repentance—at least, not until death or Christ’s return. While it is something you should be doing frequently, it is not something you just “get used to.”” Joe Thorn
Create a list of sins that are most common to you.
Read 1 John 2:16, “For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.”
Which of the three do most of your sins fall?
Lust of the flesh?
Lust of the eyes (envy)?
Pride of life?
Pray prayers of repentance. Ask the Lord to forgive you. Ask the Lord to give you a distaste for the sins that have become commonplace.

Joe Thorn talks about revulsion to sin in this chapter. What do you suppose happens to us when we are no longer upset or offended by our sins?
