During the week of February 8 - 12, we will have Spiritual Emphasis Week, and we will be learning about God's Comprehensive Plan for LIFE.

 February 8 - 10: Axis LIFE Video Small Group Chapels

February 11: Parent Teacher Conferences (No School)

February 12: Axis Video Engagement Assembly (2:15PM - 3:10PM)

SUMMARY: The Bible begins with life on a grand scale, and God grants humanity with the ability to create life themselves, through filling and cultivating the earth. Yet sin introduced a culture of death to the world, and while today’s culture does promote life in many ways (agriculture, building homes, modern medicine) it also promotes death on a huge scale. Abortion is not just a modern American issue. Abortions occur at an alarming rate globally and have been happening for a long time - even the Israelites sacrificed babies to Molech as an appeal to Baal, a god representing prosperity (and fertility, ironically). The world today may not be sacrificing to a statue, but they still sacrifice the unborn for personal benefit.
