Grandparents are Out of this World! That is the celestial theme for this year’s Grandparents Day celebration at Emmanuel Christian Academy.

On Friday, October 20, beginning at 8:15 A.M., the school will be filled with excitement as students in grades TK through six welcome their grandparents (or “grandparents” adopted for the day) to a morning filled with games, crafts, book-reading, snacks, recess, and a special chapel service. 

New for this year’s activities is the “Grand Game Show,” where grandchildren score points by giving the correct answers to questions about their grandparents. As the date nears, students will bring home more detailed information and permission forms. Curbside drop-off, as well as shuttle service from the parking lot, will be provided.  All activities are on the ground floor for easy mobility. 

After the activities end at 11:00AM, the children will be released to go home.
