Dear ECA Families,
We are thankful for the completion of our first semester. We appreciate our teachers, staff and Emmanuel families for enduring the hardships and obstacles that came into the picture during this first semester. Overall, we will complete the semester with positive insight and momentum moving forward into the second half of the year.
We are all looking forward to a much needed rest. Please read several announcements and adjustments below as we plan for return to school in January.
COVID OR SICKNESS OVER CHRISTMAS BREAK
If there are any issues with Covid over break, please email Dan Moore (dmoore@ecaoh.com). He will be working with our Athletic Director, Rick Herring for any Covid issues that would affect extracurricular activities during break.
RETURNING TO SCHOOL
Students back to school moved to Wednesday, January 5. Return to school has been moved to Wednesday, January 5th for students (Jeans/Joggers Day). Teachers and staff will return for an in-service and meetings, finalize grades and to prepare for the second semester on Tuesday, January 4th.
INCLEMENT WEATHER REMINDER
Cancellations and delays are provided through “One Call”, WHIO, as well as ECA Facebook. Remote learning will only be used in the event that multiple calamity days have been utilized and will be “pre-announced” for the next cancellation.
Enjoy a Christ-centered Christmas season. Luke 2:11, “Today, in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” He is indeed our Savior!
Merry Christmas,
Dan Moore, Building Principal
John Essig, Superintendent
