On February 6th and 7th, Mr. Shadh Molla and Yasmine Molla attended the 2025 Embry-Riddle Educators Conference where Mr. Molla, our Aviation Sciences - ECA Aerospace Institute instructor received the Embry-Riddle's Out of State Teacher of the Year Award, out of four states not including Florida. Congratulations to Mr. Molla!
Yasmine Molla was invited to participate in the Student Panel to provide feedback to educators from a high school student's perspective. She also received her first training flight in a Cessna 172, given to her by Dave Moorefield, the Director of Flight Operations.
Once Yasmine completes the aerospace program here at ECA she hopes to study Aeronautical Science or Aeronautical Engineering at Embry-Riddle and she is currently in the process of researching scholarships to pay for the completion of her flight training here in Springfield. We are so proud of you!
