FEBRUARY 1 AND FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR:
A decision will be made by January 22 to announce February 1 plans
The following are additional details for the remainder of the school year
REMOTE MODELS OF LEARNINGS:
TK - 4TH GRADE
Will only be used “by class” in the case of quarantine or isolation for multiple students or an individual teacher
The remote schedule would be 8:00-11:00 am with projects after the morning.
Students will log in daily to a Google Meet with their homeroom teachers at 8 am for attendance.
Students are expected to be actively engaged in their learning until 11am. The teacher will have some form of live instruction that day, whether it be logged in together from 8 am-11 am, or set times as determined by the teacher.
Teachers may give students assignments that are to be completed after 11am.
Work Day Wednesdays:
Students will log in at 8am for attendance, morning prayer and check in with their teacher.
Students will then work on assignments, projects, etc. as instructed by their teacher.
Teachers (including the intervention team) will meet one on one with students, as needed.
This is an academic day, and students are expected to work on and complete assignments as instructed.
5th & 6th GRADE:
Will be determined “by class” in the case of quarantine or isolation for multiple students or one of our teachers.
The remote schedule would be based on a normal school schedule 8:00-3:10 pm with teachers providing breaks as needed.
Work Day Wednesdays:

Students will then work on assignments, projects, etc. as instructed by their teacher.

7TH - 12TH GRADE:

Students will attend a “normal” school day from 8:00-3:10 pm.
Teachers will provide additional “breaks” and work time during each period.
Students will not check in for study halls.
Students in the following math classes need to log in on their scheduled days during FLEX to receive additional math support:

This is an academic day, and students are expected to work on and complete assignments as instructed.
HYBRID MODELS OF LEARNING (5TH - 12TH ONLY)
The Hybrid model allows a split group of students to attend on set days:
Group A: Monday/Tuesday | Group B: Thursday/Friday
Students will participate “synchronously” via remote on the days that they are not in the building.
“Workday Wednesdays” will still be used for students to work on projects, contact a teacher for individual help, and teacher planning.
“Workday Wednesdays” also allow for additional cleaning in the building.
At this time, we are not considering the Hybrid model for TK-4. It is not conducive to this age group and effective learning methods.
TRADITIONAL SCHOOL RETURN
We cannot emphasize enough that our goal is a return to “normal”. We understand that most of our students are in the best situation in the school setting. This also is the best plan for most families. However, we will continue to offer remote options throughout the remainder of this school year.
